Pakistan batsmen arrived to crease started the play on first day of this contest. Pakistan lost their first wicket in the second over for single run of Imam-Ul-Haq (duck out). Pakistan batsmen were devastated by South African bowlers and were all out in 47 overs scoring 181 runs. Babar Azam displayed a responsible 71 runs in 79 balls & Azhar Ali 36 runs in 69 balls for their total in first innings. Imam-ul-Haq scored 57 runs in 96 balls with eight 4s and a six & Shan Masood scored 65 runs in 120 balls with seven 4s and a six. All other players displayed a poor batting performance.
