Australia lost the two important wickets of Marsh and Maxwell in 48th over. Australia finally had a score of 298 runs losing 9 wickets in 50 overs setting 299 as target for India.

Bhuvaneshwar Kumar (4 wickets in 10 overs) & Mohammed Shami (3 wickets in 10 overs), Ravindra Jadeja also picked a wicket bowling 10 overs and also run out Khawaja and caught Shaun Marsh for Bhuvaneshwar Kumar.
